Abstract
Michael Gregory is a teacher in Paris, France, a Scientix Ambassador for France, member of Science on Stage Team France 2022, and founder of Particle Physics for Kids virtual science camps.
This talk will present how and why we need to lower the entry barrier for teachers to integrate modern physics into the classroom, and how this fits into other constraints a teacher faces. We'll explore some of the differences between a teacher and a particle physicists, and how this impacts how new resources can be developed and implemented. We'll finish off with examples of existing projects, success stories, new leads to explore and invitations for collaboration.
