Study of Nuclear Shadowing at MiniBooNE

Abstract
The total cross section for a lepton on a nucleus of atomic mass A is typically less than A times the cross section for a single nucleon; this effect is known as nuclear shadowing (NS). While well established for charged lepton-nucleus interactions, NS is much less well established, both theoretically and experimentally, for neutrino-nucleus interactions in the low energy ($\sim$1 GeV), low transferred momentum regime. We present our program to study NS in this regime using MiniBooNE data, which represent a unique high statistics data sample.
