Study of $ B^0 \to D_{s}^{(*)+} \pi^{-},\ D_{s}^{(*)+} \rho^{-},\ D_{s}^{(*)+} K^{-}$ Decays

Abstract

We report on our study of $B^0$ mesons decaying into the final states $D_{s}^{(*)+} \pi^{-},\ D_{s}^{(*)+} \rho^{-},$ and $D_{s}^{(*)+} K^{-}$ using approximately 220 million $B$ decays collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric $B$ Factory. Our study was done by exclusively reconstructing the modes $D_{s}^{*+} \to D_{s}^{+} \gamma,D_{s}^{+} \to \phi \pi^{+},\overline{K}^{*0} K^{+},$ and $\overline{K}^{0} K^{+}$. The result may potentially be useful in determining the $CP$ asymmetry parameter $\sin(2\beta+\gamma)$ in the decays $B^0 \to D^{(*)+} \pi^{-}$ and $B^0 \to D^{(*)+} \rho^{-}$.
