Programing Robots for Higher Resolution Imaging
POSTER
Abstract
In our research lab, we are developing a lensless imaging method called Interference Pattern Structured Illumination Imaging (IPSII). This technique uses the interference of two waves to create a structured pattern and project it onto an object. The scattered waves are captured and processed to calculate and reconstruct an image of that object. To enhance the method, we are investigating the use of precision robotic arms to generate interference patterns at very large angles. With large angles, we can obtain thinner and more refined structured patterns. Our approach includes developing a Python program to control the robot's positioning, ensuring the wave source is accurately directed at the desired object. Ultimately, this technique aims to achieve ultra-high-resolution imaging utilizing lasers and other wave sources.
