Physics and Astrophysics of Strange Quark Matter
ORAL
Abstract
We study the finite temperature description of Strange Quark Matter in the context of the MIT bag model. Introducing the density-dependent bag pressure, we examine the stability window of strange quark matter in the Bodmer-Witten conjecture and the corresponding Equation of State (EoS) has been constructed in the massive and massless quarks approximation. We find adding the density dependence bag pressure softens the EoS significantly and further we extend our work to investigate the structural properties of strange stars. Finally, we draw a mass-radius relation and tidal deformability for strange stars which is consistent with the astronomical observations from GW170817 and GW190814, HESS J1731-347, 4U 1702-429, PSR J0740+6620. Our preliminary work on strange stars shows great promise and this direction suggests further exploration.
