Creating Solitons with a Quantum Bridge
ORAL
Abstract
Solitons are intriguing and complex phenomena that have been a subject of interest in various fields of physics including cosmology and high-energy physics. The creation of these non-dissipative, localized solutions in the early universe can give insight to cosmological phase transitions. Although they are well studied as classical objects, their complete quantum interpretation has been elusive. In this talk, I will explore a novel framework to create solitons with quantum excitations using the classical-quantum correspondence (CQC).
