Exploring the Hubble Tension

ORAL

Abstract

The two leading methods of measuring the value of the Hubble constant produce results that differ from each other by 4-5 standard deviations. This discrepancy is known as the Hubble tension, and is one of the most pressing issues in modern cosmology. Here we review the techniques that have been used to determine the Hubble constant and examine a few of the proposed solutions to the Hubble tension.
