V343 Normae Orbit Fitting
POSTER
Abstract
I present new photometry of the young binary group V343 Norma apart of the β Pictoris moving
group. V343 Nor was previously estimated to have a period of 4.5 years. By combining radial
velocity data with new and old direct imaging data a better constrained semimajor axis could be
determine and used to better constrain the masses of the individual stars. After comparing the
newly derived period and total mass I was able to get a period of 4.58 years and a total mass of
1.41⊙.
