Detectability of the SASI Activity of Supernova Neutrino Fluxes

ORAL

Abstract

In this presentation we discuss the detectability of the Standing Accretion Shock Instability (SASI) signatures in the neutrino luminosity in Core-Collapse Supernovae (CCSN) and the capability to estimate some of its physical parameters. We apply the methodology to the luminosity as computed by numerical simulations of the CCSN, and the distortions that IceCube and Hyper-K would induce at different distances.
