IPSII Shadow Simulations
ORAL
Abstract
Using projected laser interference patterns, a new imaging method is being developed that circumvents conventional limitations such as needing to be close to the object being imaged or requiring a high numerical aperture lens. Due to the method of use, "shadows" are cast in the patterns when imaging objects with a significant axial extent. Simulations are being run to determine the effects of these shadows on the resulting image and how important or negligible they may be. Preliminary tests will be discussed.
