The Future of Quantum Computing
POSTER
Abstract
Quantum computers are hailed as the next major step in quantum technology in the general public’s view. Quantum computers can arguably solve certain problems that classical computers cannot. However, there are several difficulties with building and implementing a commercial level quantum computer. Such difficulties include decoherence, the limited number of algorithms, and the lack of computer framework. We will examine the future of quantum computers and the factors that currently limit their viability.
