Visualization of Changing Electromagnetic Backgrounds

This poster presents results from animations which were made of the electromagnetic waves generated when a background magnetic field changes its configuration. The animations were created to accompany work which is being done to investigate the behavior of quantum fields evolving in these backgrounds. In particular, they help illustrate various features of the waves which can have important physical effects, such as those which contribute to particle creation, while the background is changing.
