Investigating Causes of The Optical Rogue Wave

We are investigating two possible causes of the optical rogue wave, the correlation of the refractive index of the propagation medium, and the wavelength of light propagating though that medium. We have determined that there is a direct relationship between the correlation of the medium and the probability of a rogue wave occurring, and an inverse relationship between the wavelength of the propagating light and the probability of a rogue wave occurring.
