Vertex Detection Sensitivity Study for Proposed P0D Upgrade

The T2K experiment is a neutrino oscillation experiment located in Japan contributing to the measurement of various parameters relevant to neutrino oscillations. The Pi0 detector (P0D) is a portion of ND280, the near detector 280 meters from the J-PARC facility. The sensitivity of the Pi0 detector after a proposed upgrade for detecting neutrino events was studied using a particle-gun simulation and certain beam Monte-Carlo files used by the T2K collaboration.
