VERITAS Gamma Ray Burst Monitering

ORAL

Abstract

Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs) are sudden energetic flashes of light which have components in the gamma regime. ~Because the mechanisms at play in these extreme and varied burst are still very much unknown, the VERITAS telescopes are part of a multiwavelength campaign to record and understand them by recording the hardest component of their emission (E$>$100GeV). ~During my presentation I will discuss the results of the VERITAS GRB monitoring program in recent observing seasons.
